OK, I have a friend who has a 92 Mazda. We are going to put a watts link on it. We have the main bars mounted to the axle, Then you have the bars that mount to the frame.... But our issue is,(if you stand behind the truck looking down at the axle.) the bars that mount to the frame have to be pulled towards you maybe a 1in if that on each side. So we can mount the brackets for the link. The C-notch is in the way for the brackets to sit adjacent from each other. Is it bad for the link to sit that way? Also will we have to put some sort of lower link bar from the axle to the frame to keep the axle from "rocking" forward and backward? Any help is appreciated.

The Watts link just controls side-to-side movement and the bars should be parallel to each other for best performance. It really doesn't matter what you run as far as 3 link or 4 link, the Watts won't control "axle wrap". Make sure your suspension is working the way you want, pinion angle is good and so on and then install the Watts. Figure out about what halfway is in your suspension travel, set it up there and then go through full travel up and down and make sure nothing is in a bind. Hope that helps

So its not a link you put on for air ride? You still need a 3 or 4 link to have axle travel? Ive just never came across a watts before and dont know much about them.

Correct, mounts behind the axle and ONLY controls side movement. They are mostly done on parallel 4 links or 3 links. The main part mounts on the axle housing, center of the "pumpkin", and the bars go to each frame rail, as parallel as possible.
