Completely dishonest about his cars. Traded a perfect car for one that needed over $1000 in parts alone. Didn't say anything about the broken parts, bad clutch or oil leak.

DO NOT TRADE VEHICLES WITH HIM!!!!!

Wow one more for the record books!!!! Did you not drive it and feel the clutch? Did you happen to look around the engine for oil leaks? What did you do pull up jump out hop in the other car and cut out back home? Like you had it preplotted that you would just put the title in glove boxes? Anytime and everytime I go to buy or trade I give it a goodlooking over. I drive it, check oil, tranny, axels, ect. I have a tool kit I bring with me if its bagged I check welds bags ect. Anybody that knows that they don't have junk doesn't care. I would exspect the same. But that's just my $0.02. Outcast already said it "welcome to mautofied". Your online source for getting screwed if you don't know any better.
Also we should hear the other guys side of this. Post a link to his car.

Did an inspection, minus a test drive. Upon driving home found out the clutch was bad, posted the sold quote before we started driving home and realizing things were bad. We told him everything that had been replaced on our car and things to keep an eye on (burns oil since it's a turbo). We were completely up front with this guy and he gave us the shaft. Power seats: driver side wouldn't move forward, passenger side completely busted and won't move. My husband spent 3 hours working on the driver seat the night we got it so that the driver seat would move forward. Found the oil leak after it was taken to a shop and put up on the racks for full inspection (ps. we met in a parking lot with limited light - he would not come to us, so we could put both cars up on the racks and do a full inspection).

If I could go back and change my sold quote, I would.

Well lesson learned. If they wont meet your terms there prob. Hiding something. Chalk it up as a loss next time do a full inspection. Just because you meet someone doesnt mean you have to trade.
