Less backpressure=usually a slight hp gain in higher RPM's, but a loss of power at lower RPM's (which is where you're driving 99% of the time, unless you drive around two gears short at 5k RPM. Lol) Not really an effective power maker on a stock motor. I would agree that you should go ahead and install the aftermarket exhaust. It will have less BP than the stocker, but atleast maintain some of the power in the low-mid range RPM's. There are alot of people out there that really do believe that if they take the muffler off, it gives them tons of power. A dyno would show them that it really does not do as much as they think it does. It just makes them annoying to have to be around on the street. Lol
