Post subject:  HELP!!! Replacing CATALYTIC CONVERTER with HI FLOW

I have a 96 accord that someone decided to cut off the catalytic converter and o2 sensor, leaving me with a lous ass pos!

So what I'm wondering is if I install a HI FLOW converter on my factory exhaust which will eliminate my downstream o2 sensor, will the car run different as in bad?

Also I understand that it will not pass emission due to no cat.

Any info or thoughts on what else to do, I'd appreciate THANKS!

High flow is just going to allow more air to flow. therefore your car should run better before it ran worse.

also would the HI Flow converter make the exhaust system louder?, or will it still sound factory?

Shouldnt be that big of a difference if the rest of the exhaust is factory. but may be a little louder.

I live in OHIO and I'm guessing thdere is no way to pass the emissions test without having the factory converter with o2 sensor. Am I correct? or can there be a way around to pass!?

Nah they still have it and since this accord is a 96 with the obdII they will plug it in to test it and the o2 sensor will show...
