Post subject:  new to air bag setups

Hey all I have been out of the scene for a few years and need some help. I just bought a 90 b2600i that was baggged and c notched. I ripped the old setup out and put a used 10 switch box and tank with 8 valves everything is hooked up by the diagrams I found on the internet. The problem is that now that everything is wired and run I cant get the front bags to operate. any help would be great.

do your back bags work? if so unplug the back valves and swap the wiring to the front valves. if the truck picks up, then you know your bag/air is good, and you need to look into the wiring.

Maybe your switchbox is wired wrong or it has a short? Maybe the manifold is messing up? Not all that skilled in this area just throwing different ideas out there

ok i opened the switch box up. When u look in the box there r 4 switches that have 3 post on them. These look correct by the diagram that was attached n the last reply. there r also 4 switches that have 6 post on them. These look like they would control each side for up and down. Then there is 2 switches that have 12 posts on them. What do these do? Or do u use them at all.

Those 3 prong switches you see only control one actual movement on one actual bag. AKA UP ONLY
The six prong switches are double throw. Thats going to be your UP AND DOWN
The 12 prong most likely is your side to side, OR RR+LR or RF+LF Pancake and Cali-Roll

Do yourself a favor and ditch this switchbox. They are out dated, Bulky, and more of a bitch to wire. Your better off Building your own and wire it however you want. You really only need 6 switches. Not 10. OR just Go to www.suicidedoors.com and get yourself a seven rocker switch..Its all you need..They come with male/female connectors at the end which helps keep things clean..And my advice to you, If your not running super pivot 4 link, You have no business doing side to side. So dont wire for it. All its going to do is put stress on your suspension and bind..Which WILL cause a problem in the future..Hope this helps.
