I've got an 84 fullsize chevy on juice with 8s front,10s rear.im moving up to 12s front 16s
rear and 24in rims.im wanting this truck to lay out in the rear and still hit 3s.what is the best link setup to use on the rear ? Its got leaf springs with lowering block on the rear now.any help would be useful. Thanks

Triangulated four link for a full size (not a short bar mini setup), or a standard four link link with a panhard bar or watts link.
Triangulated will require a forward mounting point (crossmember) whereas the standard four link can sometimes be mounted inside the frame rails off of "steps" to eliminate the need for a full width crossmember.
Don't try to go cheap with a 2-link (replacing the leaf springs with square tube and flat axle mounts) like other people do. They do it just to be able to mount them to the existing front leaf eyelets (and it's really cheap) but it will not retain the same pinion angle throughout the suspension travel.

Thanks for the info, ill have to check out those setups.thought I might have been able
to set it up like a bagged system just wasn't sure if it would still hit 3s or not.

You can set it up a few ways. Cylinder to axle, or cylinder to link bar (beefed up of course). Axle mounted will only give you what the cylinder travel will, while mounting forward on a link bar will amplify the travel and give you more. And yes, it's all the same as a bag setup, without the bag mounts. Lol.

The truck is setup with piston on axle now..with the link bar setup will it still hit 3s? And would I have an easier chance of getting it to lay out?
