hey man... i have a question for you since you own a z28..... i work at a high performance shop and ive had two z28's come in with the same problem. the rear end is humming really bad. i checked all of the gears and fluid, basic stuff. i couldnt find the problem but when i got all new gears for it it went away. i was hoping you know the reason since you have one and might have run into this problem before. let me know man.

thanks, allan

Bearings probably goin' bad. I have a 91' RS that was doing the same thing, it was aggravating as hell. I swapped a 96' limited slip rear end in it with a little less miles and turns like a charm. The old rear end had 155,000 miles on it, my dads buddy said that rear end was going to lock up pretty soon.
