I have a 2008 duramax 2500 and Its too quiet for me. I rook the muffler off and it sounds exactly the same. I was told to take the dpf off, so I went and looked at it and saw it has sensors connected. So I know it will throw codes if I remove it and I'm worried it will go in safe mode ( only half engine power ). I know I can buy a flashed or tuner to remove this code but what is a reasonable program. I don't wanna spend whole bunch of money on this. Is there anyway besides removing the dpf?
