Actually between your guy's cars, id rather have the Camaro instead of the Nissan. Camaro's are awesome cars to drive, and most Nissan's are peices of crap.
If you actually drove the Z, and then the Irok, you would think differently. Those Z cars are pretty nice, and alot better at overall performance than the Camaro. Sure the Camaro MIGHT have a chance on a 1/4 mile, but start throwing it into curves, and you'll see the difference.
As far as the comment "Most Nissans are crap", honestly, some are, but every manufacturer has an "Economical" crap lineup. Chevy has it's Cavaliers (or Cobalts now), Ford has it's Focus (or Escort, or Festiva or whatever they call em now), Dodge has Neons, etc. Most of the imports "economy" cars are not geared for performance anyways, they are about economy (mpgs) and longevity. Z cars are sports cars through and through, and they did (and still do) an excellent job at it.
My personal choices are no longer domestic. I will never buy American again, because they are ALL junk. Made in America used to mean something, but now it just means "We don't care, and everything we make is disposable".
The only Camaros that I have respect for anymore are pre-73. They are the only ones built right, and the only ones to truly have any value. Less plastic, more steel, better performance. Anything domestic built after 73 turned to cheaply built junk, unless you turn out the big money for a special built vehicle such as the Corvette, or the past Vipers. The only reason they are not junk is because they were built by craftsmen who cared about the job they were doing.
I'll take a Toyota anyday. That's all I've had for the past 8 years with the exception of my 68 C-10. My wife and oldest daughter drive Hondas (Civic and Prelude), and I plan to get my next daughter her first car soon, which will be a pre-70 VW Bug. One of the best cars ever built.
