How in the fuck do people kbb their car like they do? I was looking at a 2001 jetta vr6 glx . The guy posting the car said in his ad that the KBB of his car is 7500 STOCK . I looked it up and its only around 4200 . Are they that stupid or what the shit is going on?
Here is his ad http://www.mautofied.com/2001-Volkswage ... 100489009/ . :?: . I understand why some people would list their stuff a little high to try and get a better trade deal, But why lie about it like that .

There are multiple threads on this, and even I have started one. The sad thing is banks nor car lots use KBB they use Nada. For the simple fact 70% of the KBB prices them to high. But it doesnt matter cause if you go to get a loan they will only give the price it books for. No matter HOW much is invested, you sink 6k in a car thats worth 2k well your a moron ( Unless its original and a classic ). I can see maybe a grand above book but anything else is pushing it.

Yea, he has it listed @ 130,000.. So you might as well say 131k ( Since people hardly put the EXACT mmileage ). Always round up untill they tell you exact number
