Ok Ive seen some crazy cheap ass ways to build [censored]...

I wish I took pics of some of the crazy [censored] ive seen to fix a car.

Id love to see pics of the worst rigged stuff you came across...

"If its okay with SuperPat"

lets hear some horror stories about the previous owner and the great repair he did before you bought it!...

Personally, When I bought my truck, there was 3 old stereo harnesses for amps and speaker harnesses still in the truck, I found sawdust in the radiator, hmm

Ive been on a budget since I was 5 (see Pic at bottom)

I forgot to add my most recent findings

I always wondered why the carpet in the suburban didnt look right or seemed to be bulky in places... I was trying to run some stereo cables and I found lots of broken glass and the [censored] who had this truck NEVER TOOK OUT THE OLD RUG OR PADDING! Seriously, there is a full carpet (tan) under the grey ill fitting rug. Also I noticed the dashboard (used to) be tan... and the truck used to be blue... sigh.

besides, I got the idea for this rant after seeing someone bithc about something they found (after) trading with someone on here... (bad bodywork or something) and wondered who else was dealing with this type of crap....

and I love seeing pics of other peoples stupidity or cheap laziness...

As long as it's not porn, SPAM, threats of physical harm to
anyone, pictures of firearms, or other offensive material, you
can post it in here. I like that picture. haha

First...Love the pic!!! I drove 5 hrs one night to pick up a car from a guy.....Long story short, it took 2 days to get it back home and he convenietly canceled his mautofied account the next week. Sure he is still out there somewhere. One of the motor mounts was busted and this dummy had it rigged back together where u couldnt see it. Needless to say the engine dang near turned over on the way home. Pulleys cut into the gear box. All belts popped and it overheated 3 times. Luckily We had a spare 307 at the house. Wanted to kill the lil guy but he vanished.......

(sorry for the story but thought I should share) Well mine started when a buddy of mine told me about this site. I was lookin for a mini, something I could drive to work and play with once in a while. So I sighned up. Found the very nissan I have on this website to trade. It used to be tangerine orange pearl. Well Ive been eyeballing the truck for a while, and also calling the dude and talking, making sure this was the truck for me before I figure out a way to Illinois. ( I live on the south side of missouri) So I ask the guy, "is there anything wrong with the truck , no dents or anything?" He says nope. So I hop on a greyhound because no one wants to drive me up there to pick this thing up. So on the way up there he calls me and says his dad will pick me up, and he wont be there to make the transaction. And says " oh yea I forgot theres a little dent on the driver side door panel." I say dent ? he tells me nothing to worry about its tiny. I get there and he had told his dad to hike the price on me so I have to buy. (I was stranded, came up there to buy a truck). Got to looking at the truck and the bottom of the fender that had the so called "dent" was a cave-in where the tire had fallen off. The front conversion on it was rusting under the paint, and there was an extremely bad bad tire on it. Plus the hood wouldnt shut because it had flown up on him shriveling it.....oh I was peeeeeeeeed off. I talked with his dad which was an ex-cop and a great guy, he gave me $2000 off the asking price ,(He origonaly wanted 3800 for it.) I signed the title, bill 'o sale and was outa there.....That would be why my truck is in primer and fixed the way it should be......Now I hate to see it go, Ive grown to it.

Ok , got another one for ya. So my bro wanted to buy a mini truck one time. I found one through this website and gave him the guys phone number. So he calls him decided to buy, so we drive from Missouri to some part of Oklahoma. We get there, the truck looks a little rough than in the pics but not too bad. He starts it up , purrs like a kitten. Said he rebuilt the motor, had the receipts to prove it. He ends up buying it, drove about half way, the motor starts ticking , and I mean ticking. Out of no where (from my car) I see this big explosion under the truck........yup you guessed it. The whole bottom end exploded out of the oil pan. I guess when he rebuilt the motor he didn't work the bottom end right. Then I was the good brother I was and rented a car dolly to pick the truck up on the Oklahoma border.......Got it home put a new motor in it but only to find out that a vehicle from Oklahoma doesn't require them to do an inspection on their vehicles, which is required in Missouri. In order for us to inspect a truck that has never been inspected would have to go through highway patrol. And it being a mini truck had the frame "C-notched" and would never pass inspection..........Whoo hoo. So we ended up selling the truck. And of course loosing money.
