The admins here at Mautofied appreciate it when our
members use the "Report Abuse" link on an ad where you
feel there is a problem with a listing.

The use of this link is completely ANONYMOUS which
means we have no idea who is reporting the ad and there
is no way to respond to you if you ask us a question using
this link.

When you click on it you will be asked to pick a category
that you think the listing falls into. The categories are as
follows:

Duplicate Listing
Wrong Category
Listing Is A SCAM
Fake Listing
Fake Price ($999,999)
Fraudulent Seller

Then there is a space to write a short description of what
you feel is wrong with the ad.

All reports are investigated thoroughly and dealt with
accordingly. There are some things you should not use the
"Report Abuse" link for and I have listed a few below.

He never showed up for a trade.
He said the car had a **** and when I got there it didn't.
He sent me a message and swore at me or threatened me.

While we understand that these are valid concerns we can't
help you if the guy didn't show up at the agreed time/place
or if the car didn't have whatever part the ad claimed the
car had but didn't. We can't force someone to show up
anywhere and we can't go and look at every vehicle to
verify whether an ad is accurate or not. However, if
someone is threatening you we can and will do something
about it. All you have to do is send a message to the Help
Desk or email me directly at Patrick@mautofied.com and I
will handle it accordingly.

If you feel that an ad is not accurate, post a message in
the forum and call that member out and give them a
chance to respond. If the ad truly is not accurate then
other people NEED to know. This is also true if someone
doesn't show up for a trade. People NEED to know if the
person has a history of not showing up.

Mautofied.com is like a giant family. We are all in it
together. As with every family different people have
different personalities. You might make a deal with the
"strange uncle" of the family or maybe YOU are the
"strange uncle" of the family. Just remember that we are
here for one basic reason and that is to buy/sell/trade a
vehicle or a part.

One of the reasons I wrote this is because someone keeps
reporting the yellow Mustang that is getting posted over
and over. I have no idea who is reporting it because it is
anonymous and I have no way to respond.

Here is the reason you guys keep seeing the Mustang so
much. That member paid for a Premium listing and has
bought a lot of Bumps to keep his ad near the top of the
New Listings page. Everyone knows the value of being near
the top and this guy is willing to spend the money to be
there. Obviously it is working for him because he has 62
offers on it now. By the way he has 14 more Bumps left so
expect to see a lot more of that car.

I want to thank everyone who reported the 1998 Toyota
Supra Twin-Cam Turbo for $3,499 as a scam. I locked and
closed that guy's account.

Jim, I sent you an email and explained why I locked your
account and what you have to do to get unlocked. To the
other people reading this you can probably tell by the 2
listings for his Dodge Magnum why he got locked.

 hey bud, i sent you 2 or 3 email and havnt recieved any other info, i do apoligize for everything, i was trying to sell them as a group and then selling them seperate, i didnt kno you couldnt do itthat way, i kno i was warned once, i do apologize. i will change everything when it becomes unlock, hopfully it does, if you could get back with me and let me kno something asap it would be great... thanx mike reidenbaugh
