I have a 1993 ford probe GT. 140000 miles. But it is having a problem. It starts at the turn of the key and it runs as long as you want it to. but i will not drive. Whenever i try to put it into gear even reverse it starts grinding and wont go into gear. Its a 5 speed. CAN ANYONE HELP ME????

you may need a clutch or a master cylinder. i have this problem with my honda prelude.

Check your synchronizers. If its grinding trying to go into gear
thats probably your problem
sounds like it could be your syncros but first if it is a hydraulic clutch i would check to see if you are low on fluid. i had this problem on a 94 ford ranger. it grinded everytime i tried to put it in any gear when it was out of fluid. check it and if its out then look for the leak. hope this helps.
